Following extensive renovation The Bell Inn was awarded a Four Diamond rating by the East of England Tourist Board in July 1999. Fully Licenced with overnight accommodation available. The Bell Inn is situated in the heart of East Anglia, just off the A143, approximately 7 miles south west of Diss and 14 miles north east of Bury St Edmunds. It is located in a peaceful village setting, overlooking the surrounding countryside. This delightful 17th Century Coaching Inn once had extensive stabling to provide fresh draught horses for travellers. Whites Directory of Suffolk (1844) states "Coaches pass eight times a day to Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and London". Lunches and Dinners are served in the restaurant or bar. Good food with a comprehensive menu. There is ample Free Parking and a Patio Garden.
